ITI leadership attends NAPA institute annual conference
24.08.2015,
Cardinal Schönborn and Christiaan Alting von Geusau were invited to speak at this annual gathering of Catholic leadership figures in the US
Cardinal Schönborn guided the close to 500 participants through the Cathechism of the Catholic Church, of which he was the main editor under Pope St. John Paul II - in one lecture and two panels with other speakers. All participants had been handed individual copies of the Cathechism, which allowed the Cardinal to discuss the text in the seminar method of common reading and reflection, core to the mission of the ITI. Dr. Christiaan Alting von Geusau conducted one of the break-out sessions where he spoke about "Modern Human Rights: An answer to the battle between Natural Law and Relativism", followed by a seminar-style discussion with participants. The event took place from July 30th - August 2nd, 2015.
