ITI Summer Program 2027 - Intelligence: Artificial. Human. Angelic. Divine.

Join young people aged 17-30 from around the world for a two-week immersive journey at the ITI Summer Program where human experience, science, philosophy and theology come together.

Explore the nature of intelligence — from artificial intelligence and human reason to angelic intelligence and the ultimate source of all wisdom: Divine Intelligence. By reading masterful source texts, dynamic seminar discussions, prayer, and community life, participants will reflect on knowledge, consciousness, creativity, and the purpose of intelligence.

Typical Daily Schedule

  • Lauds: 8:30
  • Morning classes: 9:00–11:45
  • Latin Holy Mass / Byzantine Divine Liturgy: 12:00
  • Lunch: 13:00
  • Recreation: Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, excursions, sports/swimming, study time, etc.
  • Vespers 18:15
  • Dinner: 18:30
  • Evening social events: Rosary, coffee shop, wine tasting, music/choir, bonfires, trivia, game night, dancing, movies, and more

Excursions Include

  • Vienna tour & Classical music concert
  • Wine tasting
  • Pilgrimage to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Mariazell
  • Heiligenkreuz Abbey tour, lunch, Holy Mass
  • Imperial City of Baden & Vienna Forest
  • Salzburg optional excursion (July 17-19: 3 days, 2 nights; €400 additional cost covers accommodation and transportation)

Costs and Financial Aid

  • Tuition: €2,300 (includes courses, accommodations, meals, books, transportation from Vienna International Airport, and excursions [except the optional trip to Salzburg])
  • Early Bird Discount: €2,000 if registered by 28 February 2027
  • Need-based scholarships available

Spaces are limited. Registration closes on 30 April 2027, or when all places are filled. Your place will be reserved once tuition is transferred and a confirmation email is received.

Where Does It Take Place?

The ITI is housed in the 12th-century former Cistercian castle, Schloss Trumau, as well as the newly built campus apartment complex in Trumau, Austria. Trumau is 20 km south of Vienna, 32 km from Vienna International Airport, adjacent to the picturesque vineyards and thermal region of Lower Austria, and near the Alps and the Danube River. Out-of-town participants will be met by ITI staff upon arrival at Vienna International Airport and shuttled directly to the ITI.

How Do I Get There?

Travel options include plane, car, train, or bus. For details, please see: Visit Our Campus. If you are traveling by plane and would prefer not to use public transport, then ITI will provide transportation to and from the Vienna airport.
