Awarding of the Grand Gold Medal of Honour for Service to the State of Lower Austria to ITI’s former long-standing President & Rector Dr. Christiaan Alting von Geusau
Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner presents Christiaan Alting von Geusau with this high state honour, stating: For over 20 years, Dr Alting von Geusau has pursued his clear mission of value-oriented, Christian-humanistic education. With great dedication, he has transformed a Catholic institute into an international university in Lower Austria. As the founder of a private highschool, he offers young people a high-quality space for their personal development. In addition, his expertise as an international speaker and author is highly regarded.
This honour not only recognises Christiaan Alting von Geusau, the former president and rector of ITI Catholic University, as a person, but also the work of the Trumau educational campus, a project that is unique in Central Europe.
This educational work of already 30 years has now been confirmed in its excellence by the honorary state award. The university community rejoices with its former president and rector for this special recognition, with which the university is now making history.
But this honour also belongs to you, dear friends and supporters of the ITI, because your generous help and support make our work possible in the first place.
