A celebration of joy and gratitude: of joy that the ITI Catholic University, with God‘s help, has been able to withstand the „storms of time,“ and of gratitude that today it is difficult to imagine the landscape of Catholic education – far beyond the borders of Austria – without the ITI. The outgoing Rector, Christiaan Alting von Geusau, played a significant role in shaping the fortunes of the university – for ten years as Vice-President for Development and later for nine years as Rector. We as a university community, together with the outgoing Rector, will look back during this ceremony on these eventful years, on our common history, and on all the good that we have been able to achieve and will continue to carry forward into the future.
