ITI Grand Chancellor and President speak at international gathering of Catholic legislators in Rome

During the upcoming weekend His Eminence Cardinal Christoph Schönborn and ITI president Dr. Christiaan Alting von Geusau will attend and speak at the 6th annual meeting of the International Catholic Legislators Network, an initiative started in 2010 with the help of the ITI and with which it remains involved. The ICLN has the following aims:

  1. To provide a platform to exchange information and ideas in order to deal effectively with the critical (moral, social and economical) issues of our time;
  1. To create a permanent formation program for Catholic politicians;
  1. To offer spiritual guidance and encouragement to practicing Catholics in elected office.
This year's meeting will focus on the intensifying persecution of Christians, the migration- and refugee crisis, as well as right to life issues. International experts will conduct the seminars.
