There are many activities on and off campus. In addition to the many impromptu gatherings in the student housing, this area is full of many outdoor activities to enjoy, including hiking, biking and swimming.
If you wish to go further afield, you can hop on a train to Vienna (only 35 km to the famous walking district), which is one of the world’s cultural centers: attend an opera, tour the Schonbrunn Palace and gardens, visit the Gothic Stephansdom and enjoy shopping in the Inner Ring. Austria is also a prime location from which to visit many Western, Central and Eastern European countries.
