EWTN Brings Former ITI Student and Graduates Together

The largest religious media network in the world, Eternal Word Television Network (EWTN), founded by Mother Angelica, PCPA, in the USA, began broadcasting in August 1981. Since then, EWTN programming has helped the Word of God to be proclaimed around the globe. Recently in England, EWTN established a new monthly magazine program Great Britain in Focus. Former ITI student Pascale Mary Rakowicz (2014-2016) and ITI graduate Robert Cassidy (STL 2005), together with his wife Jennifer, served among the first reporters of this new Catholic-themed program in their homeland. They zealously foster the beauty of the Catholic faith by exploring different Catholic issues and events geographically related to their country. They are keen to bring Christ into this world.

In Episode 8 of Great Britain in Focus, Pascale Mary dialogues with another ITI graduate from the Netherlands, Fr. Johannes van Voorst tot Voorst (STM 2013). Their fortuitous meeting in Walsingham, England, during Fr. Johannes’s pilgrimage to Marian shrines in this area, resulted in a witness about the faith and the priesthood. Listen to Fr. Johannes speak about his vocation story and the importance of family education and formation, as well as why being a priest is worth all the sacrifices the priesthood can entail. https://youtu.be/w1ejMu1b7YA
