ITI Is Striving To Be a Place of Missionary Theologians

A doctoral student in theology was once asked to lead a Bible study for friends. He blushed and said: 'I don't feel ready for that yet'. This is an example of academic theology that has ideas and theories in mind but not always the people themselves. The ITI is striving to be a place of missionary theologians who are on fire for Jesus and are willing and able to witness for him.

FOCUS (Fellowship of Catholic University Students) has been present in Europe since 2016. The FOCUS missionaries try to reach students at the universities, to invite and accompany them in relationship with Christ and to form them to be missionary disciples (through the "win-build-send" model). They use the method of Jesus Himself, Who called His disciples, invested in them deeply, and then sent them out into the whole world to make disciples as well.

On Thursday, October 28, the ITI evening event with Sarah Freddino and Benny Krenn, two Missionaries in Krems, Austria gave insight into the mission of FOCUS and would like to contribute to the acquisition of knowledge and skills for a missionary - discipleship life - already present now at the ITI Campus.
